Doing the Dishes!

My little kiddos decided to do the dishes yesterday. I was amazed that they knew that somehow or someway it needed to get done and they had the initiative to do it. Needless to say it made my day!

Thanksgiving 2010!

I was so excited to host my first Thanksgiving this year. I was a little sad when we decided not to go back home for it but then was happy that I was doing it all on my own. So all in all I think it went great. The turkey came out great and all the sides and not to mention my table decorations! We celebrated with Victor's side of the family and it was nice to all get together, especially since we've never usually see them during the holidays. There it is in all it's glory! Me and the Turkey!

Dominican Republic 2010!

This year we didn't get a chance to go on vacation during the summer but we were able to go this month. So we were excited and happy to go visit family in the Dominican Republic. We had lots of fun with everyone and even though we didn't stay for long it was worth it to go for just a few days! Me and Victor!
Sebastian and Nadia!

Palm trees and the Beach!

Passing through a town in D.R.

Sebastian and Nadia making sand castles with their Tia Mari!

Beautiful but scary. This is like man vs. wild!

On a boat ride through a mangrove!

The scenery is just beautiful!

This is a Duarte Park in the center of Victors hometown of San Francisco de Macoris, D.R.

Almost a year!

Oh wow! I can't believe that it has almost been a year since the last time I have posted anything. How time flies! Well I guess most of you know now that we moved to New Jersey. So so far from Arizona. We miss Arizona! I drove across the country with my dad until Maryland and I went the rest of the way with the kiddos. The day we got into New Jersey was the worst blizzard of the winter. Snow piled up on every side and I have never driven on snow so that was a little scary to say the least! But we made it and we had a wonderful spring and summer. The weather here is beautiful in those times of the year. Now I know why they call it the garden state. That's what I have enjoyed thus far. The scenery is just beautiful. Flowers that grow here are just amazing and don't forget the huge trees. We are excited for the holidays this year and hopefully we won't have a bad winter.
