Happy Birthday Victor!

It's that time of the year! While we where in El Paso we celebrated Victors birthday! We had lots of fun and it was nice to celebrate it with family. Friday the 13th was Victors birthday (my mom thinks it's hillarious that that day was when it fell on) and we where lucky enough to be able to go out just the two of us! We went out for dinner and dancing afterwards. It's those once in a full moon chances that you really appreciate one another!

Spring Break!

Home Sweet Home!

This is at a rest stop in New Mexico. They have this humongous
statue of a road runner on this hill and you can see it on the top when
you drive by it.

Driving into New Mexico on the way to El Paso!

Well we really didn't do much of anything for spring break until the end of the week. It was Victors Birthday so he decided he wanted to go home to my parents for the weekend. So off we went on a trip to El Paso, TX. We left on friday afternoon which it didn't seem like too much of a long drive, it's not too far from here, it's a 6 hour drive depending on how many potty breaks you have to make! We had lots of fun at grandma and grandpas house. The kids really enjoyed it!

The Chocolate Factory!

So the kids and I along with some friends went to a local (well not really local since it took 35 mins. to get there) Chocolate Factory named Cerretas in Glendale. It was exciting since we have never been to any kind of factory tour before. We had a lot of fun even though it was small but it was something different to do, they also gave out samples which is never a bad thing! We bought lots of candy to share with Victor and was gone by the time he got home from work!

Book Group.

So I have never joined any kind of book group before and now I have officially been in one. Last month we had our first book group meeting and we read the book The Scarlett Pimpernel. I am so excited because not only do I get to read books that I wouldn't read on my own but I also get to know some of the women in my ward. This has just been a really neat way to get to know other people outside of their "sundays best!"
