First Day of School!

I saw this shirt and just knew he had to wear it the first day of school.

This year Sebastian started first grade! He is so excited becasuse he is going to a new school this year. Nadia started Preschool this year and she was shy at first but she is super excited to go everyday now! Nadia and Sebastian are not going to the same school so it is a little hard having to drive both places twice a day. Nadia has to wear a uniform and Sebasian doesn't.

We also stayed at the Hyatt in New Jersey that over looked the Hudson River and at night was just beautiful because it was across the city so you could see the city lights. When we were leaving the hotel they were having an Indian wedding. It was so beautiful to see another culture celebrating. It was a nice time to get together with family. We had a lot of fun!

At the end of July we went to New York to visit Victor's side of the family! It was a lot of fun and the kids where anxious to go since it has been a while since we have been on a plane and have seen that side of the family! We took a boat tour of Manhattan, which Nadia wasn't really fond of but made the best of it until she was upset and yelled out " Why do we have to be on this boat" and of course everyone started laughing which made her even more upset. We visited many places in the city and in New Jersey! We had a blast the kids didn't even want to come home!

A Day at the Park!

One of our other many activities was going to the park. We couldn't really go during the day because it's just so darn hot! On one rare occasion we went during the day and here are pics of the kids goofing around....they are too silly. They crack me up Sebastian chases Nadia around like he can't catch her (when he really can-he's just being nice) and she runs around laughing so hard she can't even run! I'm so happy my kids can get along...most of the time!

FlagFootball Classes!

Sebastian took flag football classes this summer. He enjoyed it and did really good. He even scored a few touchdowns. Maybe he'll go pro or is it too soon to tell! :)

Summer!!!!

During the summer we tried to do many different things to entertain the kids! Some things not captured on film... but we had a great time this summer anyhow. Since we do live in Arizona you can't get away with not going swimming or getting wet at the many splash parks, so that was one of our many activites that we did regularly!

This fourth we celebrated with friends and had a great time. We went down to the lake brought our blanket sat down and watched the fireworks. The kids were actually not scared this year so it was more enjoyable than your screaming from last year!

At the end of May Sebastian graduated Kindergarten! We are so proud of him and all that he has accomplished throughout the year! He is our big helper and our big boy! It's so hard for me to believe that I have a six year old!

Nadia's Very First Haircut!

Nadia has never had a haircut until May 19th of this year. I knew that the summer was here and that she needed it badly due to the overwhelming heat here in Arizona. If I only knew that she would loose her curls I should have taken a before picture instead of just the after pic!

Time getting away!

So I know I haven't posted anything pretty much since the end of the school year and the begining of the summer so I am now going to try and fill in that time and catch up! So here it goes!
