Sebastian's 7th B-Day Party!

Sebastian's birthday is right around Thanksgiving and this year it's right on Thanksgiving Day so we decided to have a party early in the month. His party was this last Saturday and he had a blast! His party was supposed to be at a park and I had planned everything for the park but of course the only day it rains here in Arizona it has to be on the day of his party! The day started out cloudy and we really hoped that it wouldn't rain but of course it did. So last minute we had to do it at our apartment which actually went pretty good! He had tons of fun with his friends! Now I can't believe that my little boy is turning 7! It feels like just yesterday he was my little man!

The kids had a fall break from school so we decided to go to El Paso to visit the grandparents! We had so much fun and is always a blast visiting with my family! We went hiking in Aguirre Springs, New Mexico. The kids went really far and I was proud that they were almost able to make it to the top!

It's so beautiful! All you see is dunes of white sand for miles in the middle of the dessert!

We did so much at grandma and grandpa's! We went to White Sands National Park and went to visit my grandparents.

Halloween Aftermath!

So a day or two after halloween the kids are still going through their candy and little toys they recieved from trick o treating and this is a good example as to why you shouldn't give out stamps for halloween! Nadia decided it would be fun to decorate my chair with her stamp! She thinks she's really cute, can't you tell by her smile...that's probably how she gets away with a lot!

This Halloween was so much fun! Sebastian this year was Obi Wan Kenobi and Nadia was the Barbie Thumbalina!

This year Sebastian started first grade! He is so excited becasuse he is going to a new school this year. Nadia started Preschool this year and she was shy at first but she is super excited to go everyday now! Nadia and Sebastian are not going to the same school so it is a little hard having to drive both places twice a day. Nadia has to wear a uniform and Sebasian doesn't.

We also stayed at the Hyatt in New Jersey that over looked the Hudson River and at night was just beautiful because it was across the city so you could see the city lights. When we were leaving the hotel they were having an Indian wedding. It was so beautiful to see another culture celebrating. It was a nice time to get together with family. We had a lot of fun!

At the end of July we went to New York to visit Victor's side of the family! It was a lot of fun and the kids where anxious to go since it has been a while since we have been on a plane and have seen that side of the family! We took a boat tour of Manhattan, which Nadia wasn't really fond of but made the best of it until she was upset and yelled out " Why do we have to be on this boat" and of course everyone started laughing which made her even more upset. We visited many places in the city and in New Jersey! We had a blast the kids didn't even want to come home!

A Day at the Park!

One of our other many activities was going to the park. We couldn't really go during the day because it's just so darn hot! On one rare occasion we went during the day and here are pics of the kids goofing around....they are too silly. They crack me up Sebastian chases Nadia around like he can't catch her (when he really can-he's just being nice) and she runs around laughing so hard she can't even run! I'm so happy my kids can get along...most of the time!

FlagFootball Classes!

Sebastian took flag football classes this summer. He enjoyed it and did really good. He even scored a few touchdowns. Maybe he'll go pro or is it too soon to tell! :)
